Chemistry professors receive NSF grant

Assistant Professor of Chemistry Michael Zdilla has been awarded a three-year, $594,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to assist in the development of solid electrolytes. Chemistry Professor Stephanie Wunder, who is collaborating with Zdilla, will serve as co-principal investigator on the grant, which was awarded through NSF’s Process and Reaction Engineering program. Zdilla and Wunder’s work could help make lithium batteries safer and cheaper. Read more about their work.
