Jerome Leventhal inducted in Norristown Area High School Hall of Fame

Jerome Leventhal, professor emeritus in the College of Education, was inducted into the Norristown High School Hall of Fame for his service to education. The Hall of Fame honors graduates of the school who have excelled in their chosen profession.

At Temple, Leventhal has taught courses in teaching strategies, program development and promotion, research and experiential learning.

In addition to his career at Temple, he has taught and directed programs in the public Schools of Port Washington, N.Y.; Deptford, N.J.; and Philadelphia; worked with the Community College System of Connecticut where he was a division director and department chairman; was the head of business education at the University at Buffalo, and was an adjunct faculty member of the Farmingdale State College.
