Temple surgeon chairs aortic symposium, Temple Health CEO is a featured presenter

Grayson H. Wheatley, associate professor of surgery at Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM) and director of aortic and endovascular surgery at Temple University Hospital, served as conference chairman for the International Society of Endovascular Specialists’ Mid-Atlantic Aortic Symposium on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Philadelphia.

Wheatley, an internationally recognized leader in aortic surgery and endovascular therapies, gave the opening remarks and also served as a presenter.

Larry R. Kaiser, dean of TUSM, president and CEO of Temple Health, and an internationally renowned thoracic surgeon, researcher and author, delivered one of the symposium’s featured presentations, “Managing Aortic Disease: The Health System Perspective.”
