CNN’s Wolf Blitzer to receive Lew Klein Award

Wolf Blitzer, noted CNN anchor, will receive the 2015 Lew Klein Excellence in the Media Award.

Wolf Blitzer, noted CNN anchor, will receive the 2015 Lew Klein Excellence in the Media Award at an annual ceremony hosted by Temple’s School of Media and Communication Oct. 29.

The esteemed broadcaster and lead political anchor of The Situation Room will be the 15th recipient of the prestigious award, which recognizes outstanding media professionals and raises scholarship funds. Past awardees include Anderson Cooper, Matt Lauer and Robin Roberts.

The ceremony, which will be held in Mitten Hall, also will honor five alumni for their achievements in the field of media and communication and two recent graduates as “rising stars.” Learn more about Blitzer and the other award recipients.
