TU Rome marks anniversary with reunion

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of Temple University Rome, President Ann Weaver Hart, Temple Trustee Robert A. Rovner and a large group of visiting alumni, senior staff and faculty visited Rome for a special weeklong anniversary reunion on March 3–9.

The week was capped by a reception at Villa Taverna, the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Italy, where the Temple delegation (led by President Hart (at right), second from right, and Temple Rome Dean Kim Strommen, right) met with Ambassador Ronald Spogli (left) and Francesco Rutelli, Deputy Prime Minister of Italy and Minister of Culture (second from left).
