On Monday, Temple faculty, staff, students and alumni played a leading role in service events honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., including Philadelphia's city-wide celebration at Girard College, a Community Learning Network event at Ferguson Elementary School and an array of service activities organized by Temple’s Office of Community Relations throughout North Central Philadelphia.

Temple sets 2012 MLK Day service activities
News Story
Temple will kick off the Spring semester with a university-wide day of service on Jan. 16, 2012 honoring Dr. King’s commitment to making the world a better place. Members of the Temple community will volunteer for projects in North Central Philadelphia and at the city's MLK Day celebration at Girard College.
