Great Teacher Award recipients mold minds and inspire students
Great Teacher Award honorees Shohreh Amini, professor of neuroscience and biology, and Sarah Bass, associate professor of public health, are among a dozen outstanding Temple faculty who will be recognized at tomorrow's Faculty Awards Luncheon.

Alumni return to heart of Main Campus for Street Fair
On Saturday, Liacouras and Polett walks were transformed into a family festival, with sports clinics, children's games, a moon bounce, Skee-ball, face painting and a video-game station. The activities were part of a successful Alumni Weekend that brought graduates from around the nation back to Temple.

The GCDL is a four-course, 12-credit graduate certificate program that provides an opportunity for faculty, teachers, administrators, diversity trainers, human relations professionals and community leaders to acquire advanced skills, knowledge and strategies to implement diversity-oriented pedagogy, programs, practices and policies. Temple employees receiving tuition benefits can participate in this program free-of-charge. |

The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program is currently hosting world-famous Dutch artists Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn, the duo known as Haas&Hahn, for a year-long artist residency to create their first permanent art installations in North America, Philly Painting. Mural Arts Program Executive Director Jane Golden and Dre Urhahn will discuss this exciting new project and their respective experience with community-based public art. |
