Future Faculty Fellowship program creates opportunity for underrepresented postgraduates
Graduates of the Future Faculty Fellowship program gathered recently to celebrate the anniversary of the program, which assists minority and underrepresented students in making the transition to graduate and postgraduate studies by offering financial support and access to a supportive network of colleagues and peers.

Elaine Boland, doctoral candidate in clinical psychology, Temple University Department of Psychology, is seeking subjects for a study examining the association between sleep disruption and cognitive deficits among individuals with bipolar I and II disorder, individuals with insomnia and healthy controls. Eligible participants are between the ages of 18 and 65 who fall into the above categories and are willing to wear an actigraph for a period of seven days as well as sit through a diagnostic interview, a brief test of intellectual functioning and a short battery of tests (less than 60 minutes) of attention, memory, verbal learning and executive planning. Participants must travel to Temple main campus twice, and will be compensated a total of $45 for full participation, plus travel reimbursement.
