In May, Temple Contemporary's community history, art and engagement project, “Funeral for a Home,” culminated in the celebration of the life of a single Philadelphia rowhouse—before it was demolished.

A $30 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be used to replace Norris Apartments, a 1950s-era public housing facility, with 297 units of affordable and market-rate housing throughout the neighborhood located near Temple University. 

More than 100 Temple researchers, graduate students and other scientists gathered recently for the Genomics at Temple symposium, an event designed to enhance collaboration among scholars both from the data-generating and computational sides of genome research from across the university.
Temple University's Amateur Radio Club operates as station K3TU. Located on the Engineering Building’s seventh floor, K3TU features primary and secondary high-frequency stations, as well as a VHF/UHF satellite station.
