The Boyer College of Music and Dance presents its annual Family Holiday Concert, featuring Temple's Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band and Choirs. The program includes excerpts from The Harlem Nutcracker arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, Tchaikovksy’s Nutcracker and Handel’s Messiah, as well as sing-along favorites. This event is free and open to the public.

The Owls go up against Big 5 rival La Salle at the Palestra.

Saturday, Dec. 6, 12 p.m., Palestra.

Cheer for the Owls as they take on Tulane in New Orleans. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2, with radio coverage available at Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, Philadelphia.

The Temple women's basketball team hosts Fordham University. Fans who bring a canned food item in support of Philabundance can purchase tickets for $5, and will receive a free popcorn courtesy The Perch, a new student-run concession stand.
