Vice President of Alumni Relations Ken Lawrence Jr. to step down

Ken Lawrence Jr., CLA ’95, was selected last week as a member of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners. The move to the board will give him the opportunity to enhance his longtime commitment to public and community service.

Lawrence joined Temple in 2008 as vice president for the Office of Government, Community and Public Affairs. In 2015, he was appointed vice president for Alumni Relations. Lawrence has submitted his resignation and will be transitioning from his position with Temple through the middle of March. His service to the university has been vital, and the Temple community wishes him well in his new role.

Lisa Vaccarelli will become the acting associate vice president for Alumni Relations, reporting directly to Jim Dicker, the vice president for Institutional Advancement.

The Alumni Relations team, with the dedication of Trustee and Temple University Alumni Association President Scott F. Cooper, LAW ’92, will continue to build lasting engagements with Temple’s 317,724 graduates.
