In a bold move underscoring Temple University’s commitment to access and diversity, President Neil D. Theobald announced the Temple Option, an admissions path for talented students who show great potential for success but don’t perform well on standardized tests.
Temple’s College of Science and Technology will be the new home of an Energy Frontier Research Center focusing on the design of new layered materials that will have potential use in energy applications.

This week's photo is an outtake from the shoot for the upcoming Temple article "Legwork," shot by Temple photographer Joe Labolito.

July's media coverage highlights include a front-page "Philadelphia Inquirer" story on the university's new Temple Option admissions path, two appearances by Temple faculty members in "The New York Times," an absorbing faculty story in "The Atlantic" and an in-depth interview with Temple University Japan Dean Bruce Stronach in one of Japan's leading newspapers.
