The Beasley School of Law’s curriculum received a substantial boost when Murray H. Shusterman, FOX ’33, LAW ’36, decided to underwrite the Shusterman Professorship in Transactional and Business Law with a $1.1 million gift. Shusterman’s contributions to Temple Law include many years as an adjunct professor teaching corporate and real-estate law. He also served as a member of both the Law School Board of Visitors and the Temple University Board of Trustees.

This Philadelphia Inquirer article takes a close look at renowned historian, scholar and author Charles Blockson. An acclaimed chronicler of African-American history, Blockson is responsible for curating one of the world’s largest collections of African- American and African books, papers, photos and artifacts: the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University.

During the fall and spring semesters, HIV testing will be available each Tuesday and Thursday in the Wellness Resource Center. The tests are administered by a community partner who is licensed as a certified HIV-testing counselor. All tests are anonymous, and the information is not shared with the Wellness Resource Center.
