The University City Science Center in Philadelphia has awarded Temple two proof-of-concept grants: one for the development of a novel therapy for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and another for the creation of a software program that will hone physicians’ ability to read and diagnose electroencephalography, or EEGs.

The Ambler Campus Office of Student Life will host the 2013 Multicultural Holiday Celebration to commemorate many of the major holidays taking place this season. A addition to this year’s program is “Make your own gingerbread house.” Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own materials, as well. Assistance will be available to help you build it, and refreshments will be served. |

Join Temple's orchestra, choir and jazz band perform a free holiday concert on campus. The program includes holiday selections and an audience sing-a-long, and Temple Provost Hai-Lung Dai conducting the orchestra in a performance of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from Messiah.
