The #TemplePhotoOfTheWeek was shot by Temple Photographer Joseph V. Labolito. Women's basketball returns home Saturday, Feb. 15, for a rematch with Cincinnati in the Owls' annual Play4Kay game. Play4Kay honors former North Carolina State Coach Kay Yow, who passed away in 2009 after a long battle with breast cancer.

This week, POPPYN (Presenting Our Perspective on Philly Youth News) appeared in The Nation's StudentNation blogLaunched in 2010 as an extension of Temple’s University Community Collaborative of Philadelphia, POPPYN is a youth-produced news show that seeks to include youth in conversations about issues that affect them.

The Tyler School of Art Glass Guild's Valentine's Sale features a variety of handmade gifts: glass flowers, heart and flower inspired paperweights, glass jewelry and heart-shaped candy dishes.

Debra Powell-Wright—a writer and an employee at Temple's Ambler Campus—has convened an “Ambler Arts Collective” to offer poetry, song, music, film and stories featuring Cheryl Leeser, Wanda Lewis-Campbell, Sonia Medina, Michelle Morales-Whiting, Laura Reddick, Karen Sapp and Louidine “Didi” Scott. Students, faculty and staff are invited to join the celebration and free luncheon. Bring maracas, tambourines, shekeres, cowbells or hand drums if you’d like to be a part of the performance.

The Fresh Grocer nutrition tour offers hands-on learning and information about money-saving tips; easy, balanced meals; and new foods. This 90-minute tour includes food samples and is led by a dietitian from Temple.
