Ambler’s spring 2014 blood drive will take place over the course of two days to accommodate all students, faculty and staff who would like to participate. This event is sponsored by the Temple University Ambler Student Government Association and the Office of Student Life. All donors must bring proper identification.

A countercultural commentary on love, war and youthful rebellion, this watershed 1960s musical is still timely and popular. The story of one group’s struggle to live out their ideals in a chaotic world not only defined a generation, but also the future of the rock musical genre.

The Philadelphia Youth Media Collaborative will showcase the city’s best youth media. The Mashed Media Awards gala will honor work in the narrative, documentary, musical performance and other categories, and feature videos by the winning artists. This event is free and open to the public.

 

Saturday, March 29, 6 p.m., Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. 

The Philadelphia Orchestra has invited brass musicians of all ages and abilities to participate in this free community event. It is an opportunity for musicians and music lovers alike to be a part of a community-level collaboration to promote and showcase the city's love of music and the arts. Watch the rehearsal, experience the conductor's artistry and enjoy the concert.

Remarks by President Bill Clinton

President Bill Clinton will deliver a keynote address in Temple University's Liacouras Center April 10, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. The event is hosted by the Temple Law Foundation, a group founded in 1959 to promote excellence in the Beasley School of Law, and will launch the Foundation's new, annual guest lecture series benefiting student scholarships and the Barrack Public Interest Fellowship Program. Additionally, former Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell will moderate a question-and-answer session.
