The Urban Riding Basics course is for members of the Temple community who would like to use bicycles to get around, but are intimidated by an urban setting. The 30- to 45-minute course teaches the basics of safety, laws of the road and how to conduct a pre-ride equipment check. Each attendee will receive a biodegradable Bike Temple water bottle. The course is free and open to all Temple students, faculty and staff. |

Extended deadline for fall study abroad
The fall 2014 application deadline for Temple Rome and Temple Japan has been extended to Tuesday, April 15. Additionally, Temple students who start an online program and a scholarship application by April 1 and complete both by April 15 will be offered $1,000 in scholarship funding.
