On the heels of the announcement that Philadelphia will host the 2016 Democratic National Convention, faculty members in Temple’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management began sharing their expertise with the media.

The National Science Foundation has awarded an interdisciplinary research team at Temple University a three-year grant totaling nearly $900,000 to fund a social-science project tracking human behaviors through big data.

The entire university community—alumni, students, faculty and staff, parents, and friends—will unite online and at events around the world to celebrate the 172nd birthday of Temple’s founder and first president. The day of online giving has a goal of reaching 700 or more donors.
