On March 21, 173 Temple University medical students celebrated Match Day—the day when all fourth-year medical students in the U.S. simultaneously open sealed envelopes and find out what hospitals they “matched” with for their residencies.

Pultizer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel will discuss her latest work, Don Juan Comes Home from Iraq, which was produced in Philadelphia at the Wilma Theater. This collaborative project was inspired by Don Juan Returns from the War, written in 1936 by Bertolt Brecht’s younger contemporary, Ödön von Horváth. |

Jane Stimmler, co-author of Breaking into the Boys’ Club (a guide to success for women in business), will share best practices on how to overcome issues and challenges facing women in the workplace. Stimmler will offer advice about how to grow and become a leader in a professional environment. The presentation is approximately 45 minutes, followed by a 10- to 15-minute question-and-answer session. |
