Temple research featured prominently in the media this week, including Yuanzhi Li's paper on stock prices (in "The Wall Street Journal") and Domenico Praticò's study on the links between sleep deprivation and Alzheimer's (on the front page of the "Health" section in "The Philadelphia Inquirer").
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett and Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter visited Temple's Rome campus, located in the historic Villa Caproni on March 25.

Hosted by the Kornberg Student National Dental Association (SNDA), predental students will receive hands-on preclinical experience, tour the Dental School, participate in mock interviews, review personal statements, network with dental students and meet with admissions counselors.

Today, 8:30 a.m., Kornberg School of Dentistry. 

Led by the fitness coordinator and a personal trainer, this workshop will teach participants how to determine their heart rates while resting or exercising. They also will demonstrate how to use heart monitors.
