This distinguished guest lecturer series provides students with an opportunity to hear from some of the top professionals in the risk management, insurance and actuarial science industries. During this installment, Dale Thatcher, chief financial officer of Selective Insurance, will be presenting.

Students interested in studying abroad on Temple University's spring semester program in Oviedo, Spain, are invited to attend a Temple in Spain information session and reception. Students will have the opportunity to chat with former program participants about their experiences and learn more about program options and the application process from Education Abroad staff.

Anna Tobia, a clinical psychologist with the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine, will present a hands-on workshop and talk regarding her work with Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). NET applies the principles of both traditional Chinese medicine and classical psychology.

Student Center Event Services updates

Student Center Operations has made some improvements to its Event Services program on Main Campus. Specifically, the Student Center office has

  • doubled the event assistant team to four people;
  • reduced the event review timeline by half to two business days; and
  • added new outdoor spaces to the inventory.
