In a letter to the Temple community, President Neil D. Theobald announced that the men's crew and women's rowing teams will be reinstated to their previous statuses. The city of Philadelphia and Temple University Trustee H.F. “Gerry” Lenfest have come together to ensure that Temple can have a home on the Schuylkill River once again.
President Neil D. Theobald will appear today in Harrisburg before the House and Senate Appropriations committees, advocating on behalf of Temple’s annual commonwealth appropriation. Today’s Senate hearing is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m., with the House hearing set to start at 2 p.m. PCN will carry the hearings live on its broadcast channel (Comcast 186 on campus) and at pcntv.com.

Heimberg recognized as "Distinguished Educator in Clinical Psychology"
The Society of Clinical Psychology named Richard G. Heimberg, professor in the Department of Psychology at Temple, the 2014 recipient of the Toy Caldwell-Colbert Award for Distinguished Educator in Clinical Psychology at the annual American Psychological Association Convention in Washington, D.C.

Terell Stafford, director of jazz studies and chair of instrumental studies in the Boyer College of Music and Dance, was honored with the “Faculty of the Game” award Feb. 16.
