President Neil D. Theobald recently visited Rome, where he was a featured speaker at a symposium hosted by Temple Rome and the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See. The symposium focused on Pope Francis’ upcoming visit to Philadelphia.
To promote financial wellness, various events will take place at Temple throughout April in recognition of Financial Literacy Month.

Participants will learn how to build trust and communication through team activities and plan events in any professional setting using a variety of tools and techniques.

Today, 12-1:30 p.m., Howard Gittis Student Center, Room 223.

Visit the Research Paper Clinic for a 25-minute help session with a Temple librarian. Students will learn how to find sources, use databases and format citations. Writing Center tutors will also be available for help. Drop in anytime, or make an appointment online for a guaranteed time slot.

Shadi Hamid, Middle East policy fellow at the Brookings Institution, will speak on radical Islam and the Islamic State. Hamid is also the former head of the Brookings Middle East Center in Qatar.
