Temple University Japan and Miyagi University signed a Memorandum of Understanding in December, in order to begin working together on academic programs, initiatives and exchanges.

A Dec. 26 story in the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that a growing number of students have been opting to stay on campus during the holidays in recent years. The university estimates about 500 students will remain for at least some portion of the winter break, which began Dec. 14 and ends Jan. 20.

Everyone is buzzing about the historic polar vortex that is sweeping the nation. This week’s Photo of the Week by TU Photographer Betsy Manning captures the effect of the vortex on a Temple flag.
