President Theobald has appointed William Stull, who served as chair of economics at Temple for 18 years, as interim dean of the College of Liberal Arts. He will be assisted by Richard Deeg, chair of political science, who has been appointed senior associate dean for operations. Rebecca Alpert will continue as associate dean for academic affairs.

Temple chemist William Wuest has been awarded a $200,000 grant from the University City Science Center to develop the next generation of antibacterial cleansers and disinfectants.
Freshman media studies and production major Dan Ray chose Temple University in part because he wanted make a name for himself at a large school in one of the country’s biggest media markets. On Sunday, he did that and more.
