Experience April's First Friday Art Walk. A free bus for Temple students will leave 13th and Diamond streets at 6 p.m.—firstcome, firstserved, as the bus might leave earlier than 6 p.m. if it is full. At 8:45 p.m., the bus will depart from Arch Street between 2nd and 3rd streets (at the Betsy Ross House) to return to Temple. Gallery maps and list of openings will be provided. |

Temple Ambler student and faculty volunteers provide federal and state tax preparation for low-to-moderate-income families through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Students, families or individuals with a yearly income of less than $53,000 are eligible to participate. Space is limited; appointments are required. Claude Johnson, founder and executive director of the Black Fives Foundation, will discuss the important history of African-American basketball pioneers in Philadelphia. The goals of the Black Fives Foundation are to research, preserve, exhibit and promote the pre-1950 history of African-Americans in basketball to engage, teach and inspire youth and others. |

Last call: Volunteers needed for EarthFest 2015 at Ambler Campus Friday
EarthFest, Temple’s annual outdoor educational festival celebrating Earth Day, will be held at Ambler Campus on Friday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. With 7,000 visitors and more than 75 exhibits expected, a number of dedicated alumni, students, faculty and staff volunteers are needed to help make the event a success.
