Time is running out to complete the Spring 2014 e-SFF. Complete all e-SFFs this spring to gain access to SFF Data for Students next semester. Students can access e-SFFs either via TUPortal or directly at http://esff.temple.edu.

This spring, Temple's Institute for Public Affairs expanded its internship offerings to include the Washington Semester. It is a partnership between that institute and the Washington Center, an independent, nonprofit organization that serves hundreds of colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
Soccer midfielder Vaughn Spurrier learned how to balance the demands of athletics, academics and research successfully during his four years at Temple University.

The School of Media and Communication will launch a collection of non-perishable food to contribute to the food bank operated by the Berean Presbyterian Church located on the corner of Broad and Diamond streets. Contributions can be dropped in one of two locations in Annenberg Hall: the Dean's Office on the third floor or the Operations Office (Jack McCarthy’s office) on the first floor.

Today through Tuesday, May 13, all day, Annenberg Hall. 

Come celebrate the end of classes in the Tyler Courtyard. This carnival includes bouncy rides, miniature golf, games and prizes. Free hot dogs, cotton candy, funnel cakes and snow cones will be served.

Tuesday, May 6, 1p.m.-4 p.m., Tyler Courtyard. 

The Temple community is invited to celebrate 50 years of collecting and curating. Visit the lab, view artifacts and hear stories about research and materials. A reception will be held at 4 p.m. 

Wednesday, May 7, 2 p.m., Gladfelter Hall, room L8. 

This daylong conference will explore the impact of gambling. It will include musical presentations about the effects of problem gambling and panel presentations. 

Thursday, May 8, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Howard Gittis Student Center, room 200C.

Discounted parking during finals week

Discounted parking is available for students during finals week. Daily rates are $5 in Lot 10 and Temple Towers from Thursday, May 8, through Wednesday, May 14. Students must show their OWLcards to take advantage of this discounted rate. For more information about parking discounts, visit the Office of Parking Services website.
