President Neil D. Theobald announced today the appointment of two experienced leaders to new roles in alumni and government relations as part of an administrative restructuring. Beginning today, Kenneth E. Lawrence Jr. will assume the new role of vice president of Alumni Relations, and George Kenney will serve as senior advisor to the president.

Dogs from Therapy Dogs International will visit Paley Library at various times to help students relax during final exams.

For the fourth year in a row, the Temple University Alumni Association will be sponsoring a cheering station at Broad Street and Polett Walk as 40,000 runners come through Main Campus during the Broad Street Run. A cheering station also will be set up at Temple’s recently renovated Center City campus at 15th and Market streets. Temple T-shirts, pom-poms, noisemakers, signs and balloons will be available for volunteers.

Sunday, May 3, 8-10 a.m., Broad Street and Polett Walk at Main Campus and at 15th and Market streets at the Center City Campus.

Temple University's 128th Commencement is today at 10 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. For information on all of Temple's school and college graduation ceremonies, visit the Commencement website.

This culminating exhibition of Tyler School of Art's third annual Distinguished Alumni Mentoring Program is the result of a six-month mentorship between Paula Scher, TYL '70, and recent graduate Keith Hartwig, TYL '11.
