Temple has been nominated as a philly.com Top Workplace and is conducting a survey of employees for their input. Due to a Gmail security feature, some may not have received the Dec. 1 email. The security issue has been addressed and reminder invitations were sent earlier this week to those who had not yet completed the survey. The deadline has been extended to Dec. 18.

With Visualize Temple—Temple University’s comprehensive campus plan—drawing closer to completion, anticipation is building for the plan’s centerpiece: a new, state-of-the-art library.
With the new academic calendar in place, Temple's spring semester and main Commencement date will arrive earlier this school year than they have in the past.
The Visualize Temple campus plan will officially guide Temple's projects and planning efforts over the next several years, which include a new state-of-the-art library and campus quad.
Sen. Bob Casey spoke on the recent passage of the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act, and what it means for parents of children with special needs, at an event hosted by Temple's Institute on Disabilities.

Studies show that animal-assisted therapy improves concentration and relieves anxiety. Students are invited to mingle with dogs and their handlers from Therapy Dogs International during final exams. The dogs will make two additional appearances at Temple during finals week.

Children enrolled in Temple's Community Music Scholars Program's wind, string and jazz sections join the Philadelphia String Project to perform traditional and contemporary holiday classics, jazz selections and more.

Saturday, Dec. 13, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., Temple Performing Arts Center, Lew Klein Hall.

Take a study break to cheer on the Owls as they host Florida State.

Sunday, Dec. 14, 2 p.m., McGonigle Hall.

The Owls travel to Villanova to play the Wildcats. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1 with radio coverage available at Talk Radio 1210 WPHT Philadelphia.
