Dr. Oz health event to feature EHRs

Dr. Oz will bring his "15 Minute Physical" to Temple on May 19. To raise awareness of heart disease and diabetes, 1,000 people will receive lipid panels, blood-sugar screenings and vitals measurements. Electronic health records will be used so that patients can take the information back to their primary care physicians.

Bottle delivery, not milk type, linked to weight gain

Babies fed by bottle are likely to gain more weight than babies fed at the breast, according to a new study. "This finding suggests that infants fed breast milk from the bottle consume more than they would if they were fed from the breast," said Robert Whitaker, a professor of public health and pediatrics at Temple.
