Temple University announces the appointment of internationally renowned journalist, commentator and educator Bryan Monroe as the new Verizon Chair in the School of Media and Communication. Monroe, who will join the school's faculty in June, is recognized for leading the team that won the 2006 Pulitzer Prize for Hurricane Katrina news coverage.
Monroe will teach undergraduate and graduate seminars in the Departments of Journalism and Media Studies and Production, and will produce symposia on current issues in media. Read more about Monroe's appointment via the School of Media and Communication news.
