Fox study suggests Uber reduces drinking and driving fatalities
A new study conducted by the Fox School of Business suggests that the driving service Uber has reduced the number of drinking and driving deaths in California.
Brad Greenwood, assistant professor of management information systems, and Sunil Wattal, associate professor of management information systems, will present these findings at the Academy of Management conference in Vancouver. The result of data analyzed from 2009 to 2014, the findings come as many municipalities throughout Canada are fighting to keep Uber from expanding to their cities.
