Twenty-three high school counselors from Cyprus (above) toured Main Campus on July 21st to learn about the U.S. system of higher education, the admissions process and campus life. “The opportunity to showcase Temple to this group of high school counselors once again demonstrates the university’s commitment to globalization,” said Martyn J. Miller, senior director for International Services, whose office was one of the university hosts for this event. These counselors, part of the Cyprus Fulbright Commission, are participating in a program sponsored by the State Department and the International Visitor’s Council of Philadelphia, which ultimately hopes to bring students to Temple and to other schools in the U.S. |
