Single-game tickets sold out for Temple-Penn State

Tickets still available through season tickets and three-packs

All single-game tickets for the much-anticipated Temple-Penn State football game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10, at Lincoln Financial Field, have been sold.

The tickets were made available via Ticketmaster in early August.

"We released a significant number of seats to the general public," said Temple University Athletic Director Bill Bradshaw. "We're delighted that they were gobbled up as quickly as they were. It shows that there is a strong interest in this game, and we're looking forward to seeing a great crowd on Nov. 10."

Fans are still able to attend the big game. At this time, the only way to get a seat to the Temple-Penn State game is to purchase the Temple Football "Three Pack." This partial-season ticket plan includes a ticket to the Penn State game, plus two Mid-American Conference games of your choice. Prices are $72 (end zone), $84 (premium), and $135 (club level). The Three-Pack can be purchased at www.owlstix.com.

Temple will open its inaugural MAC season with consecutive home games for the first time since 2002 when it hosts Navy on Friday evening, Aug. 31, before welcoming Buffalo on Saturday, Sept. 8. The Owls also meet Northern Illinois (Oct. 6), Miami-Ohio (Oct. 20), and Kent State (Nov. 17) in Saturday contests at Lincoln Financial Field.

Many exciting promotions are in place for the season opener, which will mark the Owls' first evening contest at the venue. At the game, a Temple student will win free tuition for the semester, one lucky fan will win a one-year lease on a new Chevrolet or Nissan, and another fortunate fan will win a two-year lease on a new Subaru. In addition, former NFL greats Joe Klecko (Temple) and Roger Staubach (Navy) will take part in the opening coin toss. Tickets can be purchased at the Lincoln Financial Field Box Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet, via phone at 215-336-2000, or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
