With the game on the line, junior guard Juan Fernandez sank a jumper from the right side of the key with two seconds left to give seventh-seeded Temple a thrilling 66-64 win over 10th-seeded Penn State Thursday afternoon at the NCAA Tournament second round in Tuscon, Ariz. Fernandez, an Argentine native, ducked under Tim Frazier to bury a 10-footer and give Temple its first tournament win since 2001. He scored 23 points and shot 8 of 13.
