Ellen Unterwald, professor of pharmacology and director of the Center for Substance Abuse Research, has been appointed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as the chairperson of the Molecular Neuropharmacology and Signaling Study Section, Center for Scientific Review, for the term beginning July 01, 2011 and ending June 30, 2013. In this position, Unterwald will assure the quality of the NIH peer review process.
