Toby K. Eisenstein, co-director of the Center for Substance Abuse Research (CSAR) and professor of microbiology and immunology, completed her term as president of the Society on NeuroImmune Pharmacology. She and Martin Adler, director emeritus of CSAR, organized the Presidential Symposium on "Neuroimmune Interactions-The New Frontier for Drugs of Abuse and their Endogenous Ligands." She also gave an introductory talk to the symposium.
