Svetlana Kotochigova, research associate professor in the Department of Physics at the College of Science and Technology, received a grant from the Department of the Air Force, for the project “Precision Control of Ultracold Molecules Optical Lattices.” The $100,000 award is for the period March 1 to Nov. 30, 2008. Pending the availability of Federal funs, she may receive two more awards, of $100,000 each, for a period of a year.
