Soprano, professor in the Department of Biochemistry and associate dean of the School of Medicine, received a grant from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases for the project “Acinus: A Novel Corepressor of RAR-Regulated Gene Expression.” The award provides $307,500 for the first year of support with total funding estimated at $1,537,500 over a five-year period.
