Ma, professor of public health in the College of Health Professions, received a grant from the National Institutes of Health for the project “A Randomized Trial of Hep B Screening and Vaccination of High Risk Vietnamese.” The award provides $471,806 for the first year of support with total funding estimated at $2,406,458 over a period of five years.
