Merian Soto, associate professor and M.F.A. program coordinator of dance at the Boyer College of Music and Dance, received a grant from Dance Advance for the project titled “Branch Dance Series.” The grant is for $15,000.  

Rominder Suri, of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, received a grant from the National Science Foundation, for the project “Collaborative Research:I/UCRC-Water and Environmental Technology (WET CENTER).” The award provides $99,000 for the first year of support with total funding estimated at $495,000 for the period Feb. 15, 2009 through Jan. 31, 2014.
