Jennifer Ibrahim, of the Department of Public Health at the College of Health Professions, received a grant from the National Institutes of Health for the project, “Translating Science into Policy: A Survey of State Tobacco Control Plans.” The award provides $75,000 for the first year of support, with total funding estimated at $150,000 for the period June 2, 2008 through May 31, 2010.
