Doctoral student to meet with Nobel laureates this summer

Steven Simmons, a doctoral student in psychology with a specialization in neuroscience, has been selected to participate in the 64th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany. He will be one of approximately 600 researchers, representing nearly 80 countries, to meet with 37 Nobel laureates who will discuss and share their knowledge on relevant topics through lectures and panel discussions. Simmons’ past accomplishments include an authorship on a fall 2014 study examining the effects of nicotine and learning on intracellular signaling cascades and a fellowship on a T32 institutional training grant through the National Institute of Drug Abuse.
