Road closures, parking restrictions March 18-20
Campus street parking restrictions and road closures will be in effect from Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m. to Sunday, March 20 at 6 p.m.
In preparation for a street painting project and the annual Philly Phlyer intercollegiate bicycle race, the following campus roadways will be posted no parking zones from 5 p.m. on Friday, March 18, through 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 20. Please remove vehicles from these areas and be attentive to the temporary no parking signage:
- Montgomery Ave: South side of Street between Broad & 13th, both sides from 13th to 10th
- Norris St: North side of street between Liacouras Walk and 12th
- 12th Street: West side of street between Norris and Polett Walk
- A loop course comprised of 13th St. to Diamond St. to 10th St. to Montgomery Ave:
In addition to the no parking zone on this entire loop course, between the hours of approximately 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, cars will be prohibited from travel on these roadways during the bicycle race. Vehicular access to the interior of campus across the closed roadways will be permitted at intervals, but should be avoided if possible.
Cars left parked in these areas will be towed to facilitate the painting project and for the safety of the bicycle racers.
