See never before seen photos of Michelle Obama.
For most of January, photos of the former First Lady will be on display at Paley Library. The photos are from the recently published Chasing Light: Michelle Obama Through the Lens of a White House Photographer. You’ll also have a chance to get the inside scoop about what it’s like to be an official White House photographer—Amanda Lucidon has coupled her photos with behind-the-scenes stories.

Jan. 2-23, all day, Paley Library

*Really* get the behind-the-scene scoops from White House photographer Amanda Lucidon.
Lucidon is one of only a few women White House photographers in history, and she was the only woman photographer working during the Obama Administration. She’ll be on campus discussing what it’s like being an incredible woman, and you know, her book.

Watch the Owls take on Wichita State for the annual White Out game. Not that you need an incentive to go to a basketball game, but there will be free t-shirts while supplies last. Just saying.

Watch Temple’s version of Romeo and Juliet.
Sure, you know what’s going to happen, but Temple Theaters’ productions are always a little extra. And we love it.

Celebrate Black History Month with Black History Untold: Black Joy Event.
Co-hosted by Philadelphia Media Network and WHYY, Inc., this event is the finale of a month-long series of editorial coverage of Black History Month. Sofiya Ballin, a Temple grad and features reporter, will be a co-moderator for a panel discussion with community leaders.
