Fall send-off and spring 2021 updates
Dear students,
This semester has been anything but traditional. I want to commend you on your hard work and perseverance throughout the semester. Your resilience has been inspiring.
We continuously seek new ways to support you during these challenging times. With that in mind, the university will add two “Wellness Days” to the spring 2021 academic calendar, one during 7A (Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021) and one in 7B (Wednesday, March 24, 2021). Classes will be canceled on these days to give you a brief chance to catch your breath and take a break from class work.
In addition, we have decided to extend the credit/no credit (CR/NC) option that was offered to undergraduate students this fall semester to the spring 2021 semester. Undergraduate students will again have the option of selecting the CR/NC grading mode for one course. This selection must be made by the withdrawal deadline for the respective part-of-term in which the course is scheduled for the spring semester (Early Term Start, 7A, 7B, Full Term Courses). Students should go to My Courses in TUportal to see the deadlines for their courses. Additional information will be forthcoming shortly.
As we look forward to winter break, I hope that you will take the opportunity to relax and recharge. Together we will greet the new year with renewed energy and a hopeful outlook on what lies ahead. Please stay well and have a happy and healthy break.
Sincerely,
JoAnne A. Epps
Executive Vice President and Provost
