Services for legendary Temple University men's basketball Coach John Chaney will be held at the Liacouras Center on Monday, Feb. 8. Chaney passed away on Jan. 29 at the age of 89.

All are welcome to a physically distanced public viewing scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A private family viewing will take place at 2 p.m., and an invitation-only Celebration of Life service will start at 3 p.m. A free livestream of the service will be available for the public. 

The Liacouras Center is located at 1776 N. Broad St. Free parking is available at both the Liacouras Center Garage, located on 15th Street between Montgomery and Cecil B. Moore avenues; and the 15th Street Lot, located on 15th Street between Norris Street and Montgomery Avenue. SEPTA bus and subway service is available.
