Temple honors outstanding advisors
Established in September 2005, the Academic Advising Awards recognize the work of Temple University undergraduate academic advisors and advising administrators for their excellent interpersonal skills, nurturing attitude, mastery of institutional policies and positive impact on the overall quality of their department’s advising. This annual award honors a professional advisor, an advising administrator, a faculty advisor and, beginning in 2008, a new advisor. Recipients of the professional advisor, advising administrator and faculty advisor awards received an engraved plaque, a monetary gift of $1,000 and financial support to attend a professional conference. Their names will also be added to a perpetual plaque to be displayed in 1810 Liacouras Walk. The recipient of the Outstanding New Advisor Award will be Temple's nominee for the National Academic Advising Association Award. |
