One of the Tyler School of Art's most prominent and successful young graduates, Trenton Doyle Hancock (M.F.A. ’00), will lecture at the Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, Pa., just north of Philadelphia — a rare local, public appearance for an artist whose multimedia works such as “Sesom’s Mission, 2005 ” (at left) have earned him worldwide attention, most recently in the October issue of Smithsonian magazine.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is organized by Produce Exhibitions, a student-run organization at Tyler. Where: President’s Hall, Tyler Museum of Art, 7725 Penrose Ave., Elkins Park, Pa. When: Thursday, Nov. 15, 11 a.m. |
