Warm weather patterns the result of “global weirding”

Inconsistent snow cover and warm temperatures have caused the growth cycle of spring-blooming plants to be pushed up two to four weeks, according to Temple experts, which could be cause for concern should the weather do an about face. Ambler Arboretum Director Jenny Rose Carey warns to “expect the unexpected,” dubbing the region’s warm weather and Europe’s uncharacteristic deep freeze the result of “global weirding.”
